About this service

GHMS issues a full range of private medical documentation — certificates and reports — same-day where the clinical picture is straightforward.

Medical certificates are written on official letterhead, stamped and signed by a GMC-registered doctor: private sick notes (for work, exams, deadlines or other obligations), fit-to-fly certificates for airlines, and visa or embassy medical certificates.

Medical reports set out your presenting complaint, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis, along with any relevant test results — prepared for insurers, employers or other parties. Reports can be provided in other languages on request.

Everything is signed by a GMC-registered doctor and carries full clinical weight with employers, airlines, insurers and immigration authorities.

Common questions

Will my employer accept a private sick note?
Yes — UK law accepts private sick notes from any registered GP for absences. For absences over 7 days, employers may also accept a private Med 3 or an equivalent letter from us.
How quickly can I get a fit-to-fly certificate?
Call or WhatsApp to arrange an appointment and you'll usually leave with the certificate in hand. For complex cases (recent surgery, chronic conditions, infectious illness) we may need additional information first.
Can you prepare a medical report for my insurer?
Yes. We prepare reports covering your presenting complaint, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and relevant results, signed by a GMC-registered doctor. Reports can be provided in other languages on request — tell us what your insurer or recipient needs.
Do you provide visa medical certificates?
Yes for most jurisdictions. Some embassies require accredited panel-physician medicals (e.g. UK Home Office TB screening for specific visa types) which we don't provide — for those, we'll point you to an accredited centre.
